Are your products safe for my pet to eat with the recent Bird Flu outbreaks?Updated 4 months ago
As pet parents, we understand the concern and seriousness regarding Avian Influenza. We can confirm that in early December 2024, the New Zealand Government confirmed a strain of Avian Influenza (H7N6) on a farm in the South Island. This outbreak has been contained to prevent spreading.
We can also confirm that, in New Zealand, there have been no cases of Avian Influenza (H5N1), which is causing concern in the United States.
All our meat ingredients are sourced from New Zealand, and all our products are manufactured in New Zealand.
We can assure you that all our products are completely safe for your pet to eat.
Our freeze-dried products are processed to ensure optimal quality and food safety, and we can confirm that they are processed to meet the heat treatment requirements of WOAH, as detailed below and in Article 10.4.26. per the following link.
