You can dispose of our new bags the same way as our previous ones. Packaging is fundamental in ensuring the quality and safety of our premium, high meat diets. The ultimate goal is for your product to arrive safely and unspoiled in your pet’s bowl.
Protecting our environment is incredibly important to us, and we are consistently working to make improvements as opportunities arise.
Our freeze-dried range especially requires high-quality packaging that preserves and protects what is fundamentally a raw product. Therefore currently, our bags are not recyclable.
We are however working consistently with our suppliers to produce a bag that can both protect the nutritional quality, safety, and freshness of our freeze-dried offering, and be widely recycled through your local curb side system. We’re excited to currently be in trials developing a new bag that meets our requirements; however, this is not at a stage to be released into the market, and further production will take time.
To continue to manage our environmental footprint while we work on a solution, we are in the process of joining soft plastic recycling programs, such as TerraCycle in key markets around the globe.
